How to Apply
HU-MS² is a tuition-free DC public charter school for grades 6–8, and any family living in the District is welcome to apply. Like every public charter in the city, we enroll through the citywide My School DC lottery at myschooldc.org — so there’s one application, and you simply add us to your list.

Enrollment runs through the citywide My School DC lottery. Add HU-MS² to your list and submit your application.

Secure Your Match
Once matched, bring a few simple documents to complete enrollment:
- Parent/guardian photo ID
- Child’s birth certificate
- Proof of DC residency
