STEM pathways at HU-MS².

HU-MS² prepares scholars for STEM coursework, competitions, and careers through connected pathways that run across grades 6–8: Robotics, Data Science, Engineering, and Computer Science. Each pathway pairs hands-on projects with the design-thinking and inquiry skills scholars also build through our IB Middle Years Programme candidacy.

Pathway highlights

Four connected ways to build like a STEM professional.

Robotics

Design-cycle challenges, competitive robotics, and collaborative problem-solving.

Data Science

Data collection, analysis, and visualization tied to real-world questions.

Engineering

Iterative prototyping and community-focused design projects.

Computer Science

Coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy across grade levels.

Hands-on, every step

Recent STEM Pathways work includes scholars assembling and configuring their own gaming PC with the school’s technology team — a hands-on lesson in how hardware and software components work together.
