Summer Chess Lessons
The U.S. Chess Center is pleased to offer online chess lessons this summer for students in DC Public Charter Schools. As Mr. Teachey wrote a few days ago, we hope to organize a middle school chess league during the upcoming school year and these lessons are designed to generate interest in chess by giving students the confidence that they will be able to play with students from other schools. Interested students should have their parents register them on their website. We would expect them to register for Group 3, 4, or 6, depending on their level of experience. They are eligible to join without paying. Parents should enter DCS in the Discount box when they register, then ignore the payment options when they press Submit to register their students.
