Admission Process

Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science (MS)2 offers a rigorous academic program with accelerated instruction in all subject areas. New applicants are interviewed. A serious commitment to the learning process is required of all (MS)2 scholars. Ongoing parent involvement is expected and necessary. Families considering enrolling in our school are strongly encouraged to schedule a tour, available by appointment.

Request to schedule a school tour, classroom visit, or shadow day for your child by completing the form found  below (beginning Monday, January 2, 2017)!

 

NOTE: All visits must be requested at least one week in advance. Once your request has been submitted, we will contact you within two (2) business days to confirm the date of your visit.

Application

(MS)2   participates in the Washington DC citywide public school open enrollment process. To apply complete the application available via My School DC.

Your application is complete when:

• You have submitted, on-site, the enrollment application
• You have provided, on-site, your proof of DC residency
